Weekend!

I'm sorry for not having many posts lately I haven't really been home much. But I just finished having my tea and biscuits and so now I can sit and write (yes I have tea time everyday)

Okay so Wednesday the 17th I had a photoshoot with a lovely photographer named Mireia Grau who was really young (20 something) and the sweetest person ever :) We did some photos for her book that were spring with lots of light and I was pretending to be a porcelain doll I think they will be so cool when I get them. We basically ate bugles and sang along to Hilary Duff songs with her super flamboyant stylist assistant "George" but I could call him "Sandy"....

I got a free newspaper today that I attempted to translate.

Headline "Chaos Finally Get's it's Opportunity"
It was an article about the snow. Apparently there were 173 car crashes and it cost the city 33,000 something euros.

It was an inch of slush....

Anyways, for those of you who read my facebook I was scheduled to go to Rome for the 13-16th which didn't happen and was kind of a bummer but it turned out fine. I'll get my chance....

Instead I got to attend the 1st Anniversary of the Dom Perignon Champaign Party at CDLC a supper club on the beachfront. It was pretty amazing. I got to go with a group of my friends to a private tasting of Dom Perignon Champagnes. I think we tried about 4 different kinds and they were all served with delicious food that was made "specifically to compliment the taste of the champaign" which actually sounded more like "Esta comida se hace para comlpementar el sabor de la campina" because our "tour guide" through the tastes was spanish.

After words we joined the rest of the "club goers" to some dancing and I got to spend about 2 hours in the DJ booth spinning with DJ Camilo Franco who is a pretty cool guy we became friends a couple weeks ago when I was insulting his music choices and apparently he's pretty big in Spain (because he plays terrible music and spanish people go crazy over it) However I managed to get way more people dancing then he did with my DJing skillz which may or may not have BLOWN EVERYONE'S MIND.

In other Good News , my friend Beth O. from MN who is a year older then me whom I met at a photoshoot last time I was here is back in SPAIN! Whoo hoo. She's been in MN visiting her family. She's been living in Spain with her boyfriend for about a year now? Maybe a year and a half so we have great MN bonding time and she's AMAZING. Super chill and laid back and basically just awesome. So basically haven't been here because I'm either with her or Rachel or Francesco or working. It's busy but a really good busy :)

Pictures: 1. Picture of me demonstrating the proper way of pouring the golden liquid... 2. The horribly boring tour guide to our senses... My senses were not impressed.
