The Blizzard

We had a blizzard today in Barcelona. And no. Not the delicious frozen treat from Dairy Queen.

And actual blizzard.

EXCUSE ME?! Here I was thinking it was going to be almost laying out on the beach weather in about two weeks and I'm trucking through the snow on a way to a casting.

So funny thing about Spain, it never snows. And like ALL places in the world where it never snow, no matter how much snow there is it turns the place into COMPLETE chaos.

There was at most during the day an inch of slush.... not snow people SLUSH.

The power went out everywhere, cell phones weren't working and shut down because they were so full... thousands of police everywhere. Ambulances and emergency vehicles were zooming around by the hundreds.... So many car accidents on every street corner.

People were freaking out running around with their stupid umbrellas. UMBRELLAS.

I felt like grabbing every screaming woman that ran by and slapping her in the face. "Pull. *slap* YOURSELF. *slap* together. *slap*"

It was really ridiculous.

But it was also amazing on a positive note. I went down to the beach and it was so cool. There was so much snow, huge waves crashing, thunder and lightning from the storm... I don't think I will see something again like that in my lifetime and it was really incredible.

Pictures: pretty much self explanatory....
